Loan Nguyen Korolczuk, LCPC
Loan Nguyen Korolczuk is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Schaumburg, IL. She is also a U.S. Army veteran, having honorably served for eight years, including two tours in Iraq. Loan’s personal life experiences, military background, academic training, and professional development have all shaped her approach as a counselor. She specializes in a wide range of areas, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, crisis and trauma, and family of origin issues.
Loan is a compassionate and dedicated counselor who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She provides trauma-informed care through empathetic communication and clinical expertise, while empowering individuals and fostering emotional wellness.
Using evidence-based practices, Loan’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Reality Therapy, while also integrating a variety of modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—to best meet each client’s unique needs. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support veterans, first responders and others coping with trauma and post-traumatic stress symptoms.
