Dr. RoseMary Cairo is a clinically licensed therapist and has been in practice for over 30 years. During this time she received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has been an affiliate professor at Northwestern University, Adler University, Roosevelt University and Argosy University. She is in a full-time practice at Cairo Counseling & Associates in Schaumburg, IL. Dr. Cairo has advanced training in the areas of couples & family therapy, sex therapy, human sexuality, maladaptive behaviors, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and spiritual development.

Dr. Cairo strives to create a warm and safe environment for those who are looking to strengthen their lives and relationships emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. As a relationship therapist, Dr. Cairo is passionate about helping to navigate the typical stressors of marriage and (co)parenting, as well as working through the challenges of intimacy, infidelity, grief and divorce. Whether you are dissatisfied in your relationship(s), undergoing a life transition, or just feeling down as a result of life’s ebbs and flows, she is passionate about helping her clients process these experiences more deeply, feeling challenged yet nurtured in the therapeutic relationship, to ultimately find relief in reaching personal goals.
